KENT, LAVER. —Bridge Industrial expands its presence in the Pacific Northwest with the acquisition of 13 acres at 7730 S. 202nd St. in Kent.
The site will occupy Bridge Point Kent 180, a Class A commercial facility covering 180,000 square feet.
An aluminum smelter in the past occupied the site, requiring significant environmental rehabilitation due to nearly 40 years of contamination. Bridge plans to demolish the existing design and conduct a thorough cleanup before beginning the design of Bridge Point Kent 180 in the first quarter of 2024.
The facility is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2025.
Bridge Point Kent 180 will cater to a diversity of tenants, adding e-commerce, logistics and bloodless garage users. The facility will feature transparent heights of 36 feet, loading gates, trailer parking and car parking.
According to the company, Bridge’s continued expansion into the Seattle domain reflects the demand for significant business and fashion services in this market.
