Body discovered in the trunk after Richwood’s robbery; Two murder fees

A Guy from Monroe and a Richwood guy face second-degree murder charges after a painting was discovered Wednesday in the trunk of a car in Franklin Parish.

According to the arrest warrants filed in the case, a soldier uploaded a black Chevrolet Camaro to Louisiana 17 in Franklin Parish.

During a traffic stop, the driving force known as Michael Dewayne Mitchell Jr., 18. During the stop, the soldier saw bullet holes in the vehicle’s driving force appearance and reported a smell of marijuana on Mitchell’s persona.

During a search of the vehicle, the soldier placed a black man’s body in the trunk of the vehicle. The victim later known as Michael Robinson Jr., 23, of Monroe.

According to the court order, Mitchell confessed to his role in an armedman that resulted in Robinson’s death. Mitchell said he and Cameron Powe, 19, planned and got engaged in Richwood.

Powe allegedly shot Robinson several times with a gun. According to the court order, the suspects loaded the frame into the back of the car.

Mitchell told the infantrymen that he planned to leave the wreckage and the vehicle at a location provided to him through Powe, but arrested him before reaching the site.

Both Powe and Mitchell face second-degree murder charges. Bail for suspect is set at $500, 000.
