Affected vehicles: approximately 4300 BMW Z4 roadsters of the year style 2019-2020 and Toyota Supra coupes of the year style 2020
The problem: the plug covering the horizontal adjustment mechanism of the headlights could possibly have been inserted into the vertical plug area and vice versa, cutting off visibility and increasing the threat of collision.
The solution: distributors will adjust the vertical and horizontal adjustment caps of the headlight, correcting them if necessary.
What homeowners do: BMW will start notifying homeowners from October 19, BMW homeowners can call the automaker at 800-525-7417 and Toyota homeowners at 888-270-9371, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle protection hotline at 888-327-4236 or make a stop on their online page to verify the number identity of the vehicle and receive more information.
