There’s a lot of bets on the next BMW iNext. The new electric crossover will be the flagship product of the next generation of bmw with a number of innovations. We are a few months away from its public release, but production will not begin until July 2021.

Today we learned some new features of the BMW iX. As mentioned earlier, the last badge in the chest will involve iX, rather than the iNEXT call used for the concept car. There will be 3 variants proposed through BMW, with others of power and electric autonomy.

The entry-level BMW iX will supply 230 kW (308 horsepower), the average model around 390 kW (522 horsepower), while the more sensitive iX will bring 455 kW (610 horsepower) to the table.

Another innovation is BMW Natural Interaction. If he doesn’t forget the concept, he showed another way to communicate with the car, using revolutionary touch-sensitive fabrics. This will apply to the popular vehicle and other high-end BMW models.

The BMW iX will be a crossover that sits between the X3 and xfive in terms of length and will therefore be presented with all-wheel drive. Since the wheels have a length diversity of 20″ to 22″, you can seamlessly believe the height of this car. In addition, the optional features to be presented will be at the same point as the five Series, adding 2-axis air suspension, soft locking doors, Bowers-Wilkins sound, etc.

American consumers will have to wait a little longer for the BMW iX. Even if global production begins in July 2021, the U.S. production slots begin. They will be delivered later in the year. So expect the first BMW iXs to hit American soil in early 2022.
