Netflix Life: Growing up, you focused primarily on dance, didn’t you?Was there a turning point when you were looking to get into comedy or was it something you were interested in?
Bianca: That was one of my interests. I played for my parents and family, and I said to everyone, “I’ll be an actress when I’m older. “But the defining moment when I discovered the hobby in the trade itself was when I auditioned for the musical Evita and had the role of the mistress.
Through this audition procedure and while in the musical, I learned that there was much more to dance, and I sought to explore the theater in addition to singing. In fact, I auditioned to examine myself in London for musical theatre, but while I was there, there was something about me that was like, no, I just need to do a short course and play and play before I participated in a three-year program.
Very funny, that’s it. I replaced my brain and went straight to the theater, and here we are!
Netflix Life: How did the audition for The Kissing Booth come about? Were you actively for positions at the time?
Bianca: It’s crazy. It was my first audition. I had just finished my studies in America and came home for the Christmas holidays, and I thought, well, I’m in Cape Town and it’s the season in Cape Town, so I’d like more. locate an agent. My agent gave me a look at The Kissing Booth, and I thought, oh, it looks great, not knowing how big or small it is.
I went there absolutely naive, but in retrospect in retrospect, I think because I’m at the moment, and I appreciate it as a new experience, and I live honestly at the time and without prejudge how I would get the part or not, or the wonderful opportunity before me, that’s the kind of explanation why I think I booked it.
It was my first audition and it was tedious. We had about 4 rounds of auditions for 4 months, but in the end it was worth it.
Netflix Life: Your character Olivia is memorable. I would say that he is a very ambitious and confident person, as well as fun. How similar are you to her in genuine life?
Bianca: When other people first meet me, they think, oh, she’s the stupid, dramatic blonde. They don’t anticipate my intellectual abilities, and when they know me, they realize, oh my God, she’s actually relaxed, and she values a wonderful sense of humor, and it’s easy to live with her, and she’s not there at all.
With Olivia it’s attractive because I’m able to paint my exterior to the greatest potential, so on the one hand, I look a lot like him, but I think I’d say there’s an intensity for either of us that’s not at face value.

Netflix Life: Based on Instagram posts and behind-the-scenes videos, it turns out that the entire cast of Kissing Booth is very close by. Are you all in touch when you’re not filming?
Bianca: We do it. This isn’t a lie. I am very, very close to many cast members and it is amazing because this is my first task. I arrived in Cape Town with a whole new task and family.
Especially locking up, we all stay in touch, and I think you really realize that it’s very vital in your life that moment, and who you should stay in touch with, and that’s what’s been amazing.
Netflix Life: Of course, we know you can’t say too much, but what can Olivia enthusiasts expect in The Kissing Booth 3?
Bianca: A lot of great dancing, actually!
Netflix Life: These videos are classic romantic comedies for teens, I love that. Do you intend to explore other genres later?
Bianca: I mean, I’d like to explore all genres. Obviously, with COVID-19, right now, everything is kind of waiting, but exploring them at my own pace and making sure I’m in a position by the time the industry is able to reopen is my purpose right now. . But certainly, I’d like to explore other genres.
Netflix Life: Do you have a favorite movie to shoot?
Bianca: There are so many! Interestingly, some of the most important memories were unconventional, either in the green room or when the camera wasn’t shooting, but I don’t forget that in the first film, we had the opportunity to see GMO women. Arriving in a limousine at the dance. I had never been to one before, however, they had rented a very, very elegant limousine and we were able to pass around the block, and we were filmed fainting and all coming glamorous to prom. It really was great.
Also in the movie of the moment, those two scenes were cut, curiously, we had a wonderful front for the Halloween party, and we arrived in a Cadillac that in the past belonged to Sylvester Stallone. The Ruperts in South Africa have since bought the vehicle. and it is on display in his automobile museum. It was so cool that I was sitting in a car that had so much history, and we were on a Netflix set. It was crazy.
Netflix Life: Turning very temporarily from The Kissing Booth, I need to know all about your corporate lighting Moodmakers What exactly is the logo and how was it born?
Bianca: I’m so glad you asked me! So in South Africa we have those power outages called cargo discharge, and I kind of concept about the concept that we want a sublime solution. internal designers, I’ve been worried and my father has taught me that. I studied internal design for two years.
So I made the decision to import portable and rechargeable design lamps, and that’s where the logo started. It’s called Moodmakers because we have to create the atmosphere, and interior lighting is fundamental, you know, it creates an emotion. in a space. I hope the problem is resolved, and so far we are doing very well. I enjoyed it.
Netflix Life: Since we’re a site that covers everything similar to Netflix, I need to ask you: if you can sign up for the cast of any Netflix show, which one would you choose and why?
Bianca: Oooh, it’s complicated. Interestingly, I saw Work It last night and it’s a Netflix original. Maybe I’d like to hear Sabrina [Carpenter’s] dance with Work It. But I mean, I couldn’t pick one, I like the originals. Netflix Thank God for them!
