OSHKOSH – Bergstrom Automotive has donated a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado truck to Habitat for Humanity Oshkosh to build affordable housing in the city.
“It is essential for our and our volunteers to have a reliable means of shipping to send our machinery and appliances well to the sites of our structure,” said Tom Simon, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Oshkosh.
John Bergstrom, executive director of the car dealership, took the truck to Habitat on Monday morning.
“Too many families in our network face monetary difficulties and housing instability that has only been aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic,” Bergstrom said. “We are proud that Habitat provides affordable housing for those in need.
