Barrie man, 39, dies in crash

Emergency crews responded to the scene of the fatal motorcycle crash on Ferndale Drive North shortly after 6 p. m. on Wednesday.

Barrie police say the driver of the motorcycle, a 39-year-old Barrie man, was pronounced dead at the scene after the motorcycle left the road and crashed into an object.

Police said Ferndale Drive North closed from Edgehill Drive to Benson Drive.
