BALTIMORE (AP) — A dirt biker was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle outside Charles Village on Friday.
Police learned of the collision at 7:23 p. m. They were sent to the intersection of East Street and North Calvert Street to investigate, the government said.
There they discovered a 34-year-old man with serious injuries who had been hit by a vehicle while riding his dirt bike.
An ambulance transported the man to a hospital, where he is in critical condition, police said.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
The Baltimore Police Department’s CRASH team detectives were alerted to the deadly crash and are investigating it, police said.
