A little woman taken to the hospital with serious head injuries after falling from a car on a road before being hit by an approaching vehicle.
The 20-month-old woman fell from inside the back door of a yellow Toyota Prius car in Accrington, Lancashire, and went through a brown Peugeot.
Emergency arrived at the site at 3pm on Saturday and the woman was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital for treatment.
Two men, suspected of being the driving force and a Toyota passenger, were arrested for driving drugs.
The driving force of the Peugeot, a woman in her 50s, was not injured and was not arrested, police said.
Two men, aged 32 and 29, from Accrington, have been arrested for driving drugs and are recently detained for questioning police.
The girl is unknown at this stage.
Detective Inspector Paul Langley of lancashire police said: “We called any witness after an emphasis on Accrington.
“A 20-month-old woman allegedly fell off the inside of a yellow Toyota Prius on the road before worrying about a collision with the vehicle.
“The woman is recently receiving a medical remedy to determine the severity of the injuries.
“We would call all witnesses who may have noticed what happened or who have photographs of the on-board camera incident.
Due to the massive presence of the emergency services, the public was asked to approach the area, while cars were not allowed to enter the parking lot.
Pedestrian access remained open to the retail stores on the site, LancsLive reported.
