EDMONTON, AB, March 26, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — AutoCanada Inc. (“AutoCanada” or the “Company”) (TSX: ACQ), a multi-site group of North American auto brokers, announced that, as part of its earlier announcement NCIB (“NCIB”) to acquire up to 1,329,106 non-unusual percentages, AutoCanada has entered into an automatic percentage acquisition plan (“ASPP”) with its designated broker. The ASPP has been pre-authorized through the TSX and will end on March 10. of 2025, unless terminated last in accordance with its terms.
The ASPP aims to allow the acquisition of your common shares during certain predetermined restriction periods, subject to certain parameters as to the value and number of shares. Outside of such predetermined restriction periods, the shares will be reacquired in accordance with management’s discretion, subject to applicable law.
AutoCanada’s issuer offering commenced on March 11, 2024 and will continue through March 10, 2025, the expiration date of the NCIB, or the earlier date on which the Company completes its purchases pursuant to the Notice of Intent filed with the TSX. All purchases of non-unusual shares made under the ASPP will be included in the calculation of the number of non-unusual shares purchased under the NCIB. All non-unusual shares purchased through the Company under the NCIB will be cancelled.
