Audi A3 2022 is in a year.

In April, Audi introduced the new generation of A3 sedans. At that time, the maximum data for the A3 with European specifications, which is very different from what we have in the United States. Although not yet on sale for some other year, Audi has provided more top points, particularly for the Yankee-spec A3.

In Europe, the new A3 comes with two petrol engines and two diesel engines, the first of which can also be supplied with a comfortable 48-volt hybrid formula. When the A3 2022 still lands in the United States at the end of 2021, only one power train will be proposed. The power train in Audi’s 40 series will consist of a 2.0-litre turbocharged I4 that will provide more strength and torque than the previous A3s, however, we don’t have any concrete figures; the SAE has not yet evaluated the configuration of the A3, so this component is a scenario to determine. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard, so no, we don’t have the European manual transmission either. However, you’ll have the option to choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Every A3 2022 in the United States will also get the aforementioned 48-volt comfortable hybrid formula. Although it can supply some electrical torque, its genuine service saves fuel. It will allow for long periods of operation when turning off the engine, and can also be used to recover some of the energy released by braking. Audi estimates that the formula will save approximately 0.1 gallons of gasoline for every 62 kilometers of driving; it’s not a massive impulse, but well, it’s something.

In terms of design, you can expect pretty much what you’ve already seen. The 2022 A3 will be longer and wider for more interior space. The front end is demonstrably sharper, with a stronger character line running from the headlight all the way to the back. All four wheel arches get what Audi calls “Quattro blisters,” which I imagine is a treatable condition, but is really just flared fenders. The new sedan looks a lot closer to a performance variant right out of the box.

The interior will also be the same one we saw. Everything is more angular and on its face, following the lines of the recently updated Q3 crossover. The popular infotainment display measures 10.1 inches and is combined with a popular group of 10.25-inch virtual meters, which can be expanded to 12.3 inches with options. A head demonstration and a panoramic camera are also available. The latest version of Audi’s MIB formula will come with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB-C ports and 4G LTE navigation services connected. In terms of safety, the adaptive cruiser has been updated to keep the vehicle in its lane, and its cameras can now read traffic signs.

This brave little act is going anywhere soon.

Since the Audi A3 2022 may not go on sale until the end of 2021, there are still many things we don’t know. In addition to the express production figures, we also expect a price, which will probably accumulate a little due to all the new things out there. By context, the 2020 style of the existing generation starts at less than $35,000.
