Aston Martin builds 2,007 edition cars

No Time To Die Inspires a DBS Superleggera and a credit for public consumption

Aston Martin is making two limited-edition cars to celebrate The upcoming James Bond feature film, No Time To Die. The first is called Vantage 007 Edition, animated through bond’s car in The Living Daylights, also featured in No Time To Die, and the time is DBS Superleggera 007 Edition. Aston Martin will build 25 DBS examples and one hundred examples of Vantage in manual and automatic versions.

The Vantage 007 starts with a new mesh grille with a chrome bezel like the old V8. It also features a yellow dot diffuser and can be delivered with a set of skis and editing ski racks promoted through The Living Daylights.

It will be covered with Cumberland Grey outer paint with an obsidian black leather interior and a 007 dark chrome mark on manual cars. The sundals also recall the first film, with radio frequency 96.60 (FM), used as an escape in The Living Daylights. The seats have carbon fiber housings and the definition of “cello holes” animates through the cello hunting scene. Finally, buyers get a laser-engraved device plate that refers to some of the various equipment Bond used in the film. A special badge on the look spin will highlight the special edition.

The Vantage 007 Edition is equipped with the 4.0-liter twin-engine V8 and 503 horsepower.

The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera 007 Edition will also stay true to its original engine, with a 5.2-liter V12 biturbo with 715 horsepower. But like the Vantage 007, it benefits from many visual improvements. The DBS 007 is available in ceramic grey with black tinted ceiling, mirror housings, separator and carbon fiber diffuser. It also features 21-inch wheels turned with glossy black diamond and a chrome-finished 007 wing badge with black enamel.

Inside the DBS 007, you get dark leather with red details, the 007 mark, and a threshold plate indicating the edition number.

The DBS Superleggera 007 edition has an initial price of 279,025 pounds (approximately $365,500); Vantage 007 costs 161,000 pounds (approximately $211,960). But don’t bet too much on these, the United States has its own set of prices. The first installments begin early next year.

No Time To Die will premiere in November. We’ve included the trailer below.
