A multi-vehicle crash Friday night left one truck driver dead and several more injured, according to Arlington police.
The twist of fate occurred along the north lanes of U. S. 287 near Sublett Road at approximately 10:20 p. m. Friday, according to an Arlington police report. The collision affected five vehicles: three 18-wheelers, a Land Rover and a Toyota Rav 4.
According to police, traffic came to a near standstill due to structural paints when the driver of an 18-wheeler failed to slow down in time, according to the news release.
