It turns out to call anyone the “wandering couple” in quarantine, but Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck are, in a way. While other celebrities took advantage of the free time to break or take a break from the spotlight, De Armas and Affleck made headlines every time they went for a walk with their dog or had a coffee (usually Dunkin’).
They are photographed through paparazzi during those activities, but posting on social media is much rarer. So it was a marvel this weekend when De Armas shared a very self-satisfied selfie with Affleck. You love to see it, actually.
She kept the legend with a “?” emoji.
Affleck celebrated his 48th birthday on Saturday and People reports that De Armas introduced him to a new BMW motorcycle, with a matching helmet, to commemorate the day. Later, they were noticed by Pacific Palisades by bicycles.
Rumors of his courtship first gave the impression in March, when they were noticed in combination during a vacation in Cuba. They may have met while filming Deep Water, which is expected to premiere sometime later this year. “He makes her laugh and she has a wonderful influence,” a source told People. “They stop at their circle of relatives safely, and he works to make sure he is healthy and keep his circle of relatives. Their precedent will be their young people and they will do this job.” (Affleck stores 3 young men with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel).
Earlier this spring, the Internet became obsessed with the couple after being noticed dressed in matching central necklaces. Then came the moment when everyone thought they were sharing a T-shirt. At one point, there’s a giant Gun clipping outside Affleck’s space that turns out to be a kind of farce with Affleck’s sons.
Honestly, it’s no wonder the pandemic has led us all to look for funny news from celebrities like this every once in a while, given the general lack of occasions and red carpets we communicate on. And who can blame us? Bless Anne of Arms and Ben Affleck for giving us something to discuss.
Besides, they just seem super happy, and who wouldn’t need to see that weird 2020 that we’re all living?
