A driver who was disqualified and had an arrest warrant was detected through his Gardaí Automatic License Plate Recognition (ANPR) system.
The motorist came to the attention of the Gardaí of Blanchardstown when the ANPR formula reported that the car was neither insured nor encumbered.
“The Blanchardstown Gardaí were on patrol near Finglas when our number plate recognition formula detected this car with no insurance or taxes,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“The driver was disqualified and so was the issue of an arrest warrant.
“We will deliver it to the court this afternoon. “
