Honda Improves Real-Time Dealer Inventory Website Functionality

In an effort to provide a shopping experience for powersports retail customers, Honda has enhanced the real-time stock broker feature at its customer’s site, allowing shoppers to temporarily and seamlessly determine where they can purchase new models. Now, when they’re looking for a express motorcycle, ATV, or side-by-side vehicle in powersports. honda. com, customers can immediately check which nearby racers have that specific style in stock. Then they can request more data or simply make a stopover at the brokerage in person.

Using the enhanced real-time broker stocks capability is simple. From any style page on powersports. honda. com, consumers can simply click on the “Search Inventory” button, which links to a list of nearby brokerages that have the style in stock. The name, address, and phone number of the brokerage are provided, along with the distance traveled. There is also the option to email a form to the broker.

“We all know the feeling of excitement that comes when deciding on a major purchase, like a new powersports vehicle with the logo,” said John Stevens, American Honda’s director of powersports operations. “In such times, it is vital that customers can take the next step temporarily and easily. The enhanced real-time broker action capability on Honda’s online customer page makes purchasing seamless and hassle-free, seamlessly connecting two of American Honda’s greatest vital assets: our customers and our riders. We are happy with either of them with this feature improvement.
