September 14 (UPI) – Amazon announced monday plans to rent 100,000 new ones in the United States and Canada.
Amazon said it would also load a hundred new operational buildings, adding distribution centers, delivery stations, and sorting sites.
The company has been employing 33,000 American workers lately, he said, adding nearly 1,000 jobs remotely.
Amazon has seen a huge increase in its business since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In March he promised to raise wages due to the fitness crisis and rent to tens of thousands of new workers.
Amazon staff gave up their jobs because of the pandemic, complaining about the lack of standards of fitness and protection. Since then, the company has promised new protocols to address its concerns.
In addition, Amazon said last month that it would terminate contracts with delivery and logistics providers, in the loss of around 1,200 jobs.
