Amazon and Hyundai plan an ‘independent of the future’

The team will use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the connectivity platform for Hyundai XiteSolution’s structural equipment.

The concept is to leverage cloud computing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and device learning to create a system that can be built without direct human labor. The duo claims that those ads will be more reliable and productive than traditional ones.

Dong-wook Lee, President of Hyundai XiteSolution, said: “With the largest cloud provider as our partner, we can drive innovation towards the unmanned autonomous structure sites of the future. This collaboration marks a vital milestone in Hyundai’s ongoing transformation beyond production to a full-service solution provider.

Hyundai plans to launch products with AWS features in 2025.

The company announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that it would use AWS to refine AI data, enabling insights into productivity, reliability, and automation.

Hyundai plans to expand the use of AWS to business units, adding shipbuilding and offshore locations.
