Although it’s been a long time since you saw Alfa Romeo’s savage Giulia GTA and GTAm, this is one of the first independent video tours of the Italian hardcore sedan.
Alfa Romeo is recently presenting the new Giulia GTA and GTAm models to the media, meaning impressions about the former are also imminent.
The Italian manufacturer increased the strength of the twin-engine V6 from 2.9 liters to 532 hp (540 hp), a 30 hp build-up on the Giulia Quadrifoglio. The Giulia GTA and GTAm are now capable of a race of 0 to 62 mph (0 to one hundred km/h) in 3.6 seconds.
The chassis now has wider 50 mm rails at the front and rear, with wider wings at the front and a carbon edge at the rear covering the widest position. The suspension uses new surprise shock absorbers, springs and rings, while a new set of 20-inch central lock wheels is also present.

The aerodynamic plan has also been revised with a new front bumper with larger air intakes, thicker-looking thresholds, and a prominent rear diffuser that also houses the new titanium exhaust in the center. Carbon fiber has been widely used in the car, adding the front bumper, hood, roof, front wheel steps and rear wheel extensions, as well as drive shafts and hub seats.
Top Gear takes us around the classic ride around the more competitive Giulia GTAm, which will leave the back seat in favor of a protective ring and shell holder, as well as having lexan rear windows and thinner glass windshield.
The full nutrition of the Giulia GTAm makes it a hundred kg (220 lbs) lighter than the Giulia Quadrifoglio, weighing 1,520 kg (3,350 lbs). Oh, and this big rear barn is exclusive to GTAm.
Alfa Romeo will build only 500 copies of the Giulia GTA and GTAm combined, each car will be accompanied by a branded helmet and a racing suit for the proud owner. Prices are high: the GTA costs 175,000 euros ($206,000 in existing exchange rates) in Italy and the GTAm starts at 180,000 euros ($212,000) in the housing market.
