Alfa Romeo enthusiasts have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the upcoming Giulia and Stelvio models, but before that happens, they will be able to enjoy more special edition models. The company announced that the Intensa special series models will still be presented at the Brussels Motor Show. It shows in January, along with the new Junior Ibrida Q4, an electrified all-wheel drive edition of Alfa’s new smallest model.
The new Junior Ibrida Q4 mirrors the specifications of the very close Jeep Avenger 4Xe, making it the AWD edition of the small SUV lately found in the range.

The electrified powertrain comprises a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, a small battery pack, and two electric motors (one per axle). The ICE generates 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS), and each electric motor contributes another 28 hp (21 kW / 29 PS).
The Junior Ibrida Q4 has 4 driving modes (Dynamic, Natural, Q4 and Advanced Efficiency) and is the only Junior in its range equipped with independent rear suspension. According to the company, all-wheel drive is available even with the battery low.
Intensa Special Series
The Italian automaker also announced the special Intensa series for the Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio, unleashing some teasers to shake things up. The models will feature external and internal touches, as well as a long list of generous amenities.
Intensa-specific elements come with a revised telephone dial design for the wheels, which are finished in Dark Miron Grey with gentle gold accents. The new shoes measure 18 inches for the Junior, 19 inches for the Giulia and 20 inches for the Tonale and Stelvio. All models will feature black brake calipers with gold Alfa Romeo lettering and black external accents.

Specifically for the Giulia and Stelvio Intensa, Alfa Romeo designers added the colors of the Italian flag to the mirror caps, the cabin’s internal aluminum main points, a flame-coloured center armrest and matching stitching.
In the Intensa finish of the recently renovated Tonale, the interior will be finished in Alcantara with beige inserts and a mix of beige and beige stitching. The smaller Junior will be the last to arrive, with Alcantara upholstery with fawn grey and anthracite stitching.
We will learn more about the special-edition Alfa models at the Brussels Motor Show on January 10-19. The Alfa Romeo stand will include the Intensa trims of the Tonale and Stelvio, alongside the Junior 280 Veloce and the 33 Stradale.
The company promised that 2025 will be marked by “the launch of a wide range of major innovations, ready to excite Alfisti fans around the world”.
