Alfa Romeo fans are patiently waiting for the next Giulia and Stelvio models to arrive, but before that happens, they will be treated with more special edition models. The company announced that the Intensa special series models will debut at the Brussels Motor Show in January, alongside the new Junior Ibrida Q4, an electrified AWD version of the smallest new Alfa model.
The new Junior Ibrida Q4 mirrors the specifications of the very close Jeep Avenger 4Xe, making it the AWD edition of the small SUV lately found in the range.

The electrified powertrain comprises a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, a small battery pack, and two electric motors (one per axle). The ICE generates 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS), and each electric motor contributes another 28 hp (21 kW / 29 PS).
The Junior Ibrida Q4 has 4 driving modes (Dynamic, Natural, Q4 and Advanced Efficiency) and is the only Junior in its range equipped with independent rear suspension. According to the company, all-wheel drive is available even with a low battery.
Intense series
The Italian automaker also announced the special Intensa series for the Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio, unleashing some teasers to shake things up. The models will feature external and internal touches, as well as a long list of generous amenities.
Intensa-specific elements include a revised phone-dial design for the wheels, which are finished in Dark Miron grey with light gold accents. The new shoes measure 18 inches in the Junior, 19 inches in the Giulia, and 20 inches in the Tonale and Stelvio. All models will feature black brake calipers with gold Alfa Romeo lettering, and black exterior accents.

Specifically for the Giulia and Stelvio Intensa, Alfa Romeo designers added the colors of the Italian flag to the mirror housings, aluminum accents inside the cabin, a fire-colored center armrest and a matching set of stitching.
In the Intensa trim of the recently updated Tonale, the interior will be finished in Alcantara with tan inserts, and a combination of tan and beige stitching. The smaller Junior will be the last to arrive, featuring Alcantara upholstery with tawny and anthracite grey stitching.
From January 10 to 19 we will learn more about the special edition Alfa models at the Brussels Motor Show. The Alfa Romeo stand will present the Intensa versions of the Tonale and Stelvio, as well as the Junior 280 Veloce and the 33 Stradale.
The company promised that 2025 will be marked by “the launch of a wide range of major innovations, ready to excite Alfisti fans around the world”.
