In the first quarter, Fremantle veteran Stephen Hill found himself in trouble after colliding with Sydney’s young pistol, Nick Blakey, while trying to lift his foot.

While fighting for Sherrin, Hill’s left shoulder brutally touched Blakey’s head, and the 20-year-old left the lie on the lawn.

Afterwards, even though everything re-stood, Blakey won a kick loose and won the remedy in the band.

While the incident can be investigated through fit review officer Jason Dunstall and St Kilda’s nickname Dal Santo argued that the Dockers midfielder deserved a penalty.

“I think there are reasons (to worry) when there’s a superior contact,” Dunstall told Fox Footy.

“He leans over to pick up the ball … is lowering his hands and turning to the side.

“I’d hate to see Stephen Hill in trouble for that blow. For me, he’s his position on his foot and he leans over to pick him up.”

Dal Santo agreed: “I couldn’t have done more.

“He himself, he was going for football, unfortunately Nick Blakey was in a other position.”

Fremantle took the lead in the quarter and the Swans never seemed to have returned.

Former Western Bulldogs star Adam Cooney told AFL Nation: “The Swans just can not get into their game. They had a few opportunities to bounce back, yet it just did not come together.

“It’s too simple for Fremantle coming out of defence, the Swans want to lift their pressure.”

Porters ahead Matt Taberner scored two goals, the game high, while Sydney’s Jake Lloyd had 28 eliminations and seven problems in a sublime performance.

After recording his fifth win of the season, Fremantle will slide to 13th place on the AFL ladder, while the Swans remain in the rear four.

Next weekend, the Dockers will receive the GWS Giants, while Sydney will head to South Australia and face Port Adelaide.
