The attack will take a break when Round Thirteen ends on Monday, August 24 with Collingwood’s clash with North Melbourne before a two-day break.
This will be followed until the beginning of round 14, which will kick off the era of 28 games played in 18 days, adding Essendon’s recovery clash with the Demons.
The AFL has already announced that a clash between Hawthorn and Essendon will be double-headed on August 27, kicking off the season’s football frenzy.
