Collingwood beat Geelong 8.9 (57) to 5.5 (35) in Perth last night and Jenkins took to Twitter with a joke suggesting he was not being favored.

Jenkins, who joined Geelong from Adelaide this season but has not yet played a game for his new club, said he is “just having fun.” Scott is not on the same page, however, suggesting that the striker “failed the target” with his gag attempt.

“I think Josh looks like fun,” Scott said at his post-game press conference.
“My pleasure with him is that it’s quite funny. Looks like he missed the purpose a little bit in that case.
“My assessment of the referees? No, give me back the value. We have the luxury of having a view from all angles and making a slow assessment.
“Referees are a bit like us. They didn’t have much training. It was the first time in front of the crowds, not that I made a difference.”

Geelong was discovered in appearance with a 22-10, while the Feet ruled against 22,000 enthusiasts at Optus Stadium.
Collingwood jumped on the ladder, ahead of the Cats, who are now third with 4 wins and 3 losses.

“I think when you talk briefly with (Joel) and the medical staff, they’re optimistic, it’s not that bad, but it takes a little time to make that assessment,” Scott said.
“There’s no suggestion that we’d think about putting him back on the field, so that says a little.”
