AFL superstar gary Ablett’s wife posted an emotional message on Instagram following the death of her mother Trudy this week.
Jordan Ablett wrote on Instagram that his mother died Sunday after a long war on cancer.
Tragedy comes after Ablett’s circle of relatives announced last month that his son Levi had been diagnosed with a rare and degenerative illness.

The cats showed the pain of Ablett’s family circle when the club announced that the team would wear black armbands to honor Trudy and Ablett’s prolonged circle of relatives in their Friday night clash with Port Adelaide on the Gold Coast.
Gary Ablett remained in Jordan’s appearance after leaving the Cats’ isolation bubble last month to enroll in his family.
At the time, he revealed in a moving Instagram post that Jordan was concerned about his 18-month-old son and mother Trudy after a cancer diagnosis.

Jordan shared his family’s pain in a message on Friday night.

“It is wonderful that we have a percentage that on Sunday night, our precious mother and Nanna, Trudy, were peacefully to be with the Lord, surrounded by his beloved family,” Jordan wrote with a photo of his mother.
“Thank you for your messages of love, attention and we are very grateful. With love, Keinzley, Nina, Jordan, Michael, Ben, Gary, Presley, Levi and Denver.
