Melbourne Demon legend Garry Lyon turned a blowtorch into his own club into a half-time protest on Thursday night.
Lyon roasted the demons with a series of astonishing reviews as he turned the half-time break on Fox Footy into a ruthless pile.
Fox colleagues Footy and other AFL legends Jonathan Brown and Nick Riewoldt described the demons’ sloppy first as a chambolic respectively, but the absolute dismay and rage on Lyon’s face was what robbed the show.
Obviously, Lyon had had enough after seeing his club’s clash at half-time 6.6 (42) to 1.3 (9) opposed to Power in Brisbane.

The Demons didn’t score until the 23rd minute of the room.
When the Fox Footy exhibition returned to melbourne’s studio for Lyon, Riewoldt and Brown to analyze where Melbourne had collapsed, Lyon exploded.
He described The Demons players as “flaky,” suggesting that they had shamefully retreated to the arduous task of two games in five days, retiring from Sunday’s loss to the Brisbane Lions.

“We asked before the game. There’s one of those groups competing and behind this (first half), one of them is faking,” Lyon said.
“Port Adelaide clinical. Pathetic Melbourne.
“They serve this year after year and have to own it. It’s an insipid performance.”
“Today you can consult them. I don’t think there’s any preference or preference. His inability to perform degrees of fundamental skill is pitiful.”
He later said, “It’s embarrassing and there’s no other way to look at it.”
Nor would he have enjoyed the part of the moment, as the force continued to put the demons on the sword before the final siren sounded in a shot of 12.11 (83) to 4.8 (32).
Jonathan Brown is scathing at the Demons’ inability to respond to the extra spice of The Demons-Power rivalry after Port Adelaide last year continually beat demons’ star Max Gawn in a physical contest.

Their failure to seek revenge for the Power’s 2019 ambush was unacceptable, he said.
Instead, they went out and served this, Brown said.
Brian Taylor of Channel 7 also criticizes the Demons’ lifeless performance.
“They’re playing smart football right now in Melbourne. You’ll have to be less kind. The port does what it wants,” he says.
Other AFL commentators were equally furious about the Demons’ failure to earn the 4 competitive points of Power.
The Demons have now won 8 of the 31 games they have played since they were destroyed across the West Coast in the 2018 start final.

During their really dark days, the Dees played one house game a year in Gabba. For some reason, I’d agree. I feel like I’m watching one of the games right now. They’re awful tonight. #AFL

I don’t do it part-time at this rate. Watch an incredibly inept and ruthless Dees outfit. #AFLDeesPower
The seven-edge runner, Daisy Pearce, said in the early third quarter that the Demons’ fatigue was remarkable, and that players seemed absolutely eliminated through their shorter rotation time.
The Demons now have just xix days before their next match against the Crows at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday.
