ACFS Port Logistics Unveils State-of-the-Art Warehouse in Hazelemere

ACFS Port Logistics (ACFS) has opened its new warehouse in Hazelmere, a suburb of Perth.

ACFS says the depot is a step towards strengthening its position as a trusted partner in Australia’s logistics sector, and the company is confident that the expansion will allow it to better serve its consumers in the state.

It is equipped with a warehouse and container park and boasts a five-star eco-rating as well as a 99 kW solar system.

ACFS claims that the 15,000-square-meter warehouse can store more than 20,000 pallets, while its new container depot offers an 11,850-square-meter rigid platform.

Multi-site warehouse features include 4 integrated docks, a high-volume unpacking/packing facility, and a generation that ACFS says will allow its Hazelmere team to optimize storage, handling, and its distribution processes.

The site’s container depot will be reinforced through the ACFS shipping fleet. ACFS says the fleet will deliver full containers in batches and tautliners with full truck and sub-container loading service requirements.

The container depot has been equipped with equipment, such as stackers, as well as 36 electric charging points for cold storage, and video surveillance is also provided both in the structure and in the warehouse.

ACFS says that with the opening of the depot, its Western Australian team is in a position to meet the desires of its consumers and provide exceptional service.

For more than 30 years, Australasian Transport News (ATN) and its Fully Loaded virtual platform have been data leaders for owners and managers of medium and giant shipping companies.
