A 2-year-old boy was killed and four others seriously injured Friday in a turn of fate on the northwest side of Detroit.
Police said a 29-year-old man was driving a Dodge Challenger east at top speed on the W. Eight Mile near Cherrylawn around 1:55 p. m. when he collided with a Ford Escape driven through a 63-year-old woguy.
As a result of the accident, the Challenger crashed into a boat, the 2-year-old suffered fatal injuries, while the boy and two other young men, a 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old woguy, were hospitalized in critical condition, as the driving force of the Escape.
