In recent years, GM has implemented Elevation as a GMC sub-brand, subscribing to Denali models and rugged AT4 models. As things stand, the full-size Sierra 1500 pickup truck and medium gun truck already feature Elevation as complete equipment levels. And now, GM Authority has learned that the GMC Acadia 2021 midsize crossover will be registered for the Elevation party.
In fact, the Acadia 2021 will load an elevation edition as a standalone package in the GMC Acadia 2021. As in the SLE and SLT final tiers, the Elevation Edition organization of GMC Acadia 2021 loads the following features and content:
For SLE and SLT versions, the Acadia Elevation Edition 2021 GMC package requires the interior and black jeais adjustment. In addition, the set must not be available with the Bright Accent organization or the Black Accent organization, or with the LPO (accessory level) wheels.
Prices and photos of the package should not be at the time of writing.
Offering the Elevation Edition as a package on the 2021 Acadia represents a noteworthy departure from the way GMC markets Elevation on its pickup trucks. On the Sierra 1500, Elevation is a standalone trim level slotting between SLE and SLT. And on the 2021 Canyon, Elevation represents the base trim level (called Elevation Standard) and the mid-tier trim (simply called Elevation).
However, Elevation first as a feature set in the second generation Canyon, before moving on to the above completion grades for the lightweight update brought for the 2021 style year. As such, long-term versions of the GMC Acadia would possibly incorporate Elevation as a level of independent equipment.
