A plainfield guy died in a turn of fate on I-69 northbound on Thursday afternoon, according to the Indiana State Police.
Kevan McDaniel, 41, plainfield, driving in the right lane near the 245-mile mark north of Gaston-Ind. 28 left at approximately 2:30 p.m., when police reported that his vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, had hit the back of a trailer truck.
Police said the semiconductor and McDaniel were reaching a domain where traffic slowed down by paintings of structures when the turn of fate occurred. McDaniel tried to stop, police said, but could not slow down enough before hitting the semitrailer.
McDaniel was pronounced dead at the scene. The semiconductor is not damaged.
