ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash between two Harley Davidsons Monday afternoon in the 60,000 block of S. R. 15.
Authorities say around 2:44 p. m. , 19-year-old Iolana Reedy of Cromwell was driving her 2012 Switchback northeastbound on S. R. 15 as she approached the parking lot near the crash site.
“[Reedy] turned northwest toward the parking lot . . . and understeered. [Reedy] walked to a grassy part of the parking lot. [Reedy] hit a brick that bent the edge of [his bike],” ECSO said. [Reedy] lost [his bike] and ended up putting it on the left side. “
His motorcycle crashed into and knocked over a 2014 Electra Glide Ultra in the parking lot that was unoccupied.
Reedy told the government he thought he had hit something when he went off the road, but couldn’t comprehend the details of the twist of fate because of how temporary it happened.
Reedy went to Goshen Hospital for a cut on his right cheek through his sunglasses. No subpoenas were issued.
