Armed police blew up the doors of a barn in an early raid on a Surrey farm while investigating the murder of Sergeant Matt Ratana.
On Friday, Sergeant Ratana was shot dead while running at the Croydon detention center, the alleged marksman was in critical condition in the hospital.
Armed police raided a farm early in the morning in a town rich in the officers’ belt in connection with the murder.
Officers reportedly jumped the door to one of the three houses in Courtlands Farm near Banstead Wood, Surrey.
Nearby photographs recorded the sound of the explosion as it reverberated around nearby properties.
A neighbor told MailOnline: “There was a massive explosion around 5. 40am and I looked out the window and saw that there should be 20 police cars and bumper vans lined up on the personal road leading to the nearby farm.
“It’s already dawn, so the Gentile has just started and I can tell the police with guns, some were dressed in black and others wore military-style uniforms. They all had helmets where there seemed to be something attached like a headlight or an infrared camera.
“I didn’t see myself expelled from the assets and I didn’t see any arrest. “
