A missing Gaylord guy discovered dead near Two-Track in Montmorency Co.

The Michigan State Police Station in Gaylord has a grim update: the guy they’ve been looking for since Sunday was discovered dead Monday night.

Soldiers say Nelson Wheaton, 78, found out near Clear Lake, right next to a two-lane track.

The Montmorency County Sheriff’s Office said the user who discovered it said they saw a guy on the floor around 7:30 p.m.

The infantrymen responded to the scene and discovered Wheaton dead. The cause of death has yet been determined, but it is suspected of being a crime.

Polaris Ranger from Wheaton nearby. He last realized Saturday’s green look through the look in the Lake Arrowhead subdivision.
