A homeless man alive in a luxury suite at St. Petersburg’s Al Lang Stadium

St. PETERSBURG, Fla. A homeless man entered a Florida stadium and lived in a luxury suite for two weeks, police said.

Daniel Neja, 39, arrested Monday after a cleaning team entered a suite at Al Lang Stadium and discovered razors, opened shaving cream boxes and blankets, St. Petersburg police spokeswoman Yolanda Fernandez told the Tampa Bay Times.

The stadium is home to the Tampa Bay Rowdies football team.

According to an arrest affidavit, Neja had to send garage spaces and stole more than $1,000 in clothing. Police said he had also entered the food garage spaces and fed drinks worth $250.

Fernandez told WFTS, abc’s Tampa Bay-area subsidiary, that the surveillance video showed Neja “up to two weeks without anyone noticing.” She said “it may have combined.”

Pinellas County Jail records show that Neja faces charges of trespassing and resistance to a nonviolent officer. He remained in prison Friday on a $5150 bail.
