Family asks about death of boy in North Yorkshire
A much-loved York businessman committed suicide after being worried about Covid-19’s monetary pressure
Jayden Walters surprised through motorcyclists on Saturday, August 22, after his mother, Sarah Jayne Walters, made a call on Facebook to “put a smile on his face.”
“He’s had a great time and he probably wouldn’t avoid talking about it,” Walters said, estimating that 150 cyclists arrived at the relatives circle house in Rossington, Doncaster.
In addition to the bike tour, a local ice cream van came together to offer the birthday boy ice cream loose.
Jayden was diagnosed with rare Loeys-Dietz syndrome after being rushed to a special care unit shortly after birth and undergoing surgery at the center.
His circle of relatives raised cash for Bluebell Wood’s children’s hospice, which took over the four-year-old long-term.
Walters said the circle of relatives had raised 240 euros for the hospice on the day of the cyclists’ visit.
She said the Doncaster Dragons biker club, which she organized when they saw her message, are “part of my family” after the surprise.
“Each of the bikers made their day, they came from everywhere, the Doncaster Dragons were the leaders,” he says.
“We will continue to contact the Doncaster Dragons, now they are part of my circle of relatives and have fulfilled my son’s dream.”
Annie Wall, whose father and brother were part of the bikers, said: “I come from a circle of motorcycle relatives and we also fight the lockdown. We’re just looking to help someone feel special on their special day.
