“In fact, there are everyday jobs that come with [participation in Ethereum 2. 0]. You can’t just bet and quit. You have to run what we call validation or consumer software. “
This is Ben Edgington, Teku’s product owner at ethereum venture capital firm Consensys. Teku is one of five software consumers that are being edited lately on the official Ethereum 2. 0 network, Medal.
These consumers will attach users to the long-awaited evidence of blockchain engagement aimed at expanding the speeds and performance of Ethereum transactions. Ethereum 2. 0 consumers like Teku will also allow users to earn rewards as validators on the new network.

Similar to the role of miners in the existing Ethereum blockchain, Ethereum 2. 0 validators will be guilty of processing transactions and creating new blocks. What this seems in practice, according to Edgington, is to keep the operating consumption software 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. a compromised computer.
As for which of the five clients to manage, Vijay Michalik, a strata of Teku’s engineering team, explained that the technical differences between them were minor, however, their biggest difference between Michalik’s clients is reduced to a vision of long-term progression.
“For Status [the corporate Ethereum messaging], the Nimbus visitor focuses on creating a visitor for a system with little clutter. Therefore, they are building integrated systems such as mobile devices and a future IoT [Internet of Things]”, Michalik “In terms of ConsenSys protocol engineering, we seek to build on our specialization to create the corporate grade visitor [Ethereum 2. 0]”.
