A car crashes in space in Harrison’s Natrona neighborhood

A crashed into a home in the Natrona community of Harrison on Saturday night.

The accident occurred along Federal Street shortly before 11 p. m. The driver was reportedly taken to the hospital. It is unclear if they or anyone in the space was injured.

Firefighters from several regional departments helped remove and quarantine patients, according to a social media post via Citizens Hose. The car was removed from construction that night.

Municipal police said they would not be released on Sunday.

There are several mid-19th-century townhouses along Federal Street that were built through the Penn Salt Manufacturing Co. , which once produced chemicals for domestic and commercial use. The houses surrounding the factory were reserved for workers.

The site of the twist of fate is about a half-mile from where 11-year-old Roxanne Alexis Bonnoni was struck by a car Tuesday and killed. At least one city official is planning a debate about protection on North Canal Street at a commissioners meeting Monday.
