A boy and a man die after being hit by a tractor truck in Sheopur MP district

Sheopur, March 30 (PTI) – A man and a child were killed and two injured after a high-speed tractor-truck collided with a motorcycle in Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur district on Saturday, police said.

District Collector Lokesh Jangid said all the victims were aboard the two-wheeler when they encountered the twist of fate in the morning within the confines of the Birpur police station.

The collector said a tractor involved in illegal mining collided with the motorcycle, killing a 25-year-old man and an 8-year-old boy.

Two people who were also riding a motorcycle were injured and are being treated at a hospital, he said.

Angered by the accident, local citizens protested in front of a local police station to call for action against police officers who had failed to stop cars speeding in the area. PTI COR ADU NR
