50-year-old Bossier City man dies after three-vehicle accident

A 50-year-old Bossier City guy died Friday morning after a three-vehicle accident in Bossier City.

At 11:01 a.m., Bossier City police and firefighters headed to the intersection of East Texas Street and Old Minden Road in reaction to the accident.

The twist of fate claimed the lives of The Bossier City guy, Mark Mascola, according to a press release from the city of Bossier City.

The Bossier City police accident investigation team discovered that Mascola was turning left on Old Minden Road from East Texas Street West Lane on a Toyota Rav Four when he did not give in to an approaching Toyota Tundra.

Mascola collision crashing into the front of a third vehicle, a Ford F-250.

Mascola transferred to Ochsner LSU Health and pronounced dead in hospital.

The tundra’s driving force transported to Willis-Knighton Bossier with non-fatal wounds. No other injuries were reported.

No alteration is suspected pending the final results of a toxicology report to state law.
