A 2008 Toyota Sedan traveling west on Dempster Street veered off the roadway and crashed into the building, police said. The car ended up in the dining room and caused serious damage to the building.
MORTON GROVE, Ill. (AP) — A driver crashed into a Culver’s restaurant in Morton Grove on Monday.
At approximately 3:49 p. m. , Morton Grove police responded to Culver’s at 7310 Dempster Street to receive a report of a twist of the car fate in the building.
A westbound 2008 Toyota Sedan on Dempster Street veered off the road and struck the building, police said.
The car ended up in the dining room and caused extensive damage to the building.
Four customers, who were the place of food at the time, were transported to domain hospitals with minor injuries.
The driver, a 79-year-old woman from Mount Prospect, was not injured.

One crashed into a Culver’s restaurant in Morton Grove on Monday.
She was cited for using lanes and given a hearing date.
Franchise owner Kim Struzynski was available Monday night to assess the damage.
She provided the following to FOX 32 Chicago:
“We can verify that there was a twist of automotive fate at Culver’s in Morton Grove. Our greatest fear is the protection of our guests, our team and the driver. We perceive that none of the injuries are serious and we are grateful for that. They are running with the government and have no more data for percentage beyond what they have already published. “
