4 injured after a twist of car fate at Culver restaurant in Morton Grove

A 2008 Toyota Sedan traveling west on Dempster Street veered off the roadway and crashed into the building, police said. The car ended up in the dining room and caused serious damage to the building.

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (AP) — A driver crashed into a Culver’s restaurant in Morton Grove on Monday.

At approximately 3:49 p. m. , Morton Grove police responded to Culver’s at 7310 Dempster Street to receive a report of a twist of the car fate in the building.

A westbound 2008 Toyota Sedan on Dempster Street veered off the road and struck the building, police said.

The car ended up in the dining room and caused extensive damage to the building.

Four customers, who were the place of food at the time, were transported to domain hospitals with minor injuries.

The driver, a 79-year-old woman from Mount Prospect, was not injured.
