“Car camping” simply means that there are roads that allow you to drive your car directly to your campsite, for example, park further away and walk there. Some campers sleep in their cars, others prefer to pitch tents. Campers may use bathrooms with non-unusual showers. Because your car is with you, it can be very simple to hit multiple campgrounds in a week or two, or watch a longer, more intense camping trip.

Here, don’t use a trick, be careful. Bear bags have been used for years, but they don’t work. Some national parks (such as Yosemite) provide bear traps, so you don’t have to worry about carrying anything, so do your studies before you leave.
