Everyone remembers their first car, their first home, their first motorcycle ride. Now, this would be arguably the most productive time to climb this list of premieres with its first piece of Northern Michigan paradise.
Another tender circular is about to take a position with the auction of the MNR land reopening its 2020 tenders. And there are some good things to gain. Maybe in insect-infested swamps with land that’s probably uneusable. You can see densely wooded plots that provide a diversity of shade.
Do you want to install your dealership next to a railway embedded in the Huron-manistee forest? It’s for sale. Dozens of acres in the Gaylord State Forest? It’s on the line. And yes, there are even houses across the lake.
Approximately 225 plots of land ranging from a portion of an acre to 40 acres are now on sale on the Natural Resources website. The annual auction features land that is suitable for personal ownership, but is separated from other larger crown-owned plots, making it difficult to manage the plots. Others don’t have the same public recreational advantages Belle Isle would bring.
