2025 Infiniti QX80 Will Be First Luxury SUV To Feature A Klipsch Audio System

Infiniti says its studies show that audio systems that can “envelop and immerse” all passengers in a luxury SUV are a top priority for customers. In order to give them what they ask for, it will be the first automaker to integrate Klipsch audio devices into a premium SUV.

That vehicle will be the 2025 QX80, which Infiniti plans to fully unveil later this year. In the meantime, it has revealed today at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 that the SUV will be offered with an optional 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio System.

The formula includes titanium tweeters, a high-performance eight-inch “TriPower” subwoofer and a 24-channel amplifier. Infiniti says it worked directly with audio experts at Klipsch to integrate the formula into the QX80. He says the collaboration has allowed him to expand new audio technologies for the SUV, but says he likely won’t reveal them until the next few months.

Infiniti hopes to renew its symbol to remain applicable in the premium automotive segment, and the QX80 will lead that change. Previewed with the QX Monograph concept at Pebble Beach last summer, the chunky, boxy SUV has tough proportions, an undeniably sublime design, and the team says it will outline the brand’s design language for years to come.

The QX Monograph Concept features a large grille enlivened by the crisscrossing stems of a bamboo forest, a large panoramic sunroof to give occupants plenty of natural light, attractive new elements and more.

“The all-new QX80 is poised to elevate Infiniti’s flagship with evolved design language, exceptional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology that will make it the new standard in the luxury SUV space,” said Craig Keeys, group vice president, Infiniti Americas. “As we embark on an INFINITI product renaissance, we can’t wait to share all the ways QX80 will deliver extraordinary comfort and convenience for all three rows.”
