2024 Skoda Octavia Teases Its “Modernized” Design

Skoda has teased the facelifted Octavia, ahead of its debut next month.

While the company isn’t saying much at this point, the car will have a “modernized” and “refreshed look.” Skoda didn’t delve into specifics, but mentioned a new grille and revised lettering out back. We can also get a glimpse of new headlights and familiar bodywork.

There’s not much to say, but spy photographers photographed the renovated Octavia Estate last summer. The prototype sported the same old styling changes, adding modified bumpers and updated taillights. The truck also gave the impression of being equipped with a larger infotainment system.

Skoda has been tight-lipped about the upcoming model, but has already hinted at an optimised engine range. While there’s nothing official, the potential powertrain options may mirror those of the updated Kamiq.

If so, there may only be a 1. 0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder with 114 hp (85 kW / 116 hp). It will most likely be joined by a 1. 5-litre 148 hp (110 kW / 150 hp) four-cylinder estate. We can also expect a collection of 2. 0-liter four-cylinder engines.

Full details will be announced soon, but the refreshed Octavia is part of a core product initiative. In addition to updates to existing models, the company will unveil the new Elroq later this year as a successor to the electric Karoq.

It will be followed by a basic vehicle in 2025. Se expects the automaker to unveil a pickup truck and a seven-seater SUV in 2026.
