2024 Hyundai Kona Electric N Line will be available in Australia this year

An N Line Sport Styling Package has been launched for the 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric in Europe ahead of planned arrivals in Australian showrooms later this year.

It means the N Line pack – which is solely cosmetic – is now available on all three versions of the new Hyundai Kona, matching the petrol and hybrid variants already available in Australia.

According to Hyundai Australia, arrivals are expected in Australian showrooms this year. The regular Kona Electric range hit showrooms this month.

The N Line package includes unique front and rear bumpers, black side mirror caps, an optional black roof, 19-inch N Line wheels, an N Line-specific steering wheel, front sports seats with red stitching, aluminium pedal covers, and either cloth or leather/Alcantara combination upholstery.

The rear spoiler fitted to the petrol and hybrid variants of the Kona N Line in Australia is not fitted to any N Line (petrol, hybrid or electric) sold in Europe.

In the UK, the N Line package is available in two models, the £40,395 (AU$76,900) N Line S and the £43,095 (AU$82,000) N Line S.

Both are supplied with the larger of the two batteries available in Europe, at 65. 4 kWh. This is a different package from the 64. 8 kWh of Australian market extended-range models that are produced in South Korea, rather than the Czech Republic, and use another battery supplier.

Pricing for Australia is yet to be revealed and it’s unclear if the N Line package will be available in all 3 Kona Electric styling grades.

In the Kona N Line petrol and hybrid range, the optional package costs between $3,000 and $4,000 more, depending on the quality of the styling to which it is added.
