The Corolla Hybrid lineup has been expanded for 2023 and Toyota celebrates the addition of the new SE Hybrid Edition by introducing an infrared edition.
Available in Ice Cap, Midnight Black Metallic or Underground, the Corolla Hybrid SE Infrared Edition features bright red fenders and side skirts. They are joined via 18-inch bright graphite alloy wheels, which are on the SE model.
The theme continues in the cabin, as buyers will find red accents on the seats, door panels, gear lever and floor mats. They are united through operating system content, such as heavily reinforced front seats, a smart key and an 8-inch Toyota audio multimedia formula. that provides cloud-based navigation, live updates, and an intelligent assistant that answers the keyword “Hey, Toyota. “

Other highlights of the SE include a sport suspension, an advanced sport driving mode and a readjusted electronic force guidance formula with a “firmer” feel. Buyers will also get a sportier exterior with gloss black accents, a front fascia plus a rear diffuser.
Like the rest of the lineup, the infrared edition is powered through Toyota’s upgraded hybrid formula that is comprised of a 1. 8-liter four-cylinder engine, a small lithium-ion battery and two motor generators. This is the style to produce 134 hp. (100 kW / 136 hp) and 156 lb-ft (211 Nm) of torque.
More importantly, the Corolla Hybrid can return to 50 mpg in the city, 43 mpg on the highway and 47 mpg combined. The Corolla Hybrid SE Infrared Edition is expected to launch later this year. There’s no pricing information at this point, but expect a slight premium over the base value of the Hybrid SE of $25,200, the destination rate of $1,095.
