Not only is it the entry of Chevy-standard pickup that undergoes a complete redesign, but Silverado is adding a new off-road variant and more updates are being made for 2024. After a second-generation forged race, the Chevrolet Colorado is the new logo for the 2023 style year. The new Colorado uses a poached frame from its older brother, the Silverado. The changes come with a new external styling, six new interior colors and new 18- and 20-inch wheel designs. A new High Country Midnight Edition package features darkened details, and the off-road-focused ZR2 trim is available for the first time on Chevy’s HD pickups.
Chevy has also increased the strength of the sleek, rugged V8 turbodiesel engine, to 470 hp and 975 lb-ft of torque. The V-8 gasoline powertrain also gets an upgrade; the old six-speed automatic transmission was dropped in favor of a 10-speed Allison automatic.
The new generation of trailers will be available.
