Toyota Tundra owners will have to keep an eye out for a new recall after the automaker said approximately 200,000 pickup trucks had to return to the dealership.
In documents issued last Wednesday through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Toyota said 183397 Tundra 2018-2020 pickup trucks could involve a wiring error that would create low-light flashing lights. This error can also cause weak hazard lighting fixtures when the conductors turn them on.
Inadequate lighting means that vans do not meet federal vehicle standards, and NHTSA has stated that other drivers may not see flashing light or active risks, increasing the threat of an accident.
The undeniable solution will require taking your Tundra to a dealership where a technician will modify the cable package connected to the flashing bulbs. All paintings will be free.
Notices are expected to begin to be sent around September 13.
