Nearly a dozen championship motorcycles were stolen in a home invasion at Phoenix Racing Honda in Salisbury, North Carolina, during the weekend following the 13th day of the Supercross season.
“This is not the way to start the week,” Phoenix Racing posted on Instagram. “Our racing workshop was damaged last night and 11 of our championship bikes were stolen from the showroom!Keep an eye out for the Charlotte NC area.
The message shows the damage to the front door and the debris left behind after the theft.
In an Instagram post, Phoenix Racing shows surveillance footage of at least six Americans struggling to pull motorcycles out of their pits and push them out of the front gates.
Phoenix Racing offers motorcycles for Dylan Ferrandis in the 450 Elegance, as well as Jace Owens, Cullin Park and Kyle Peters in the 250 division.
Ferrandis is currently ranked 12th in SuperMotocross matters despite missing the last four rounds due to injury.
Kyle Peters is the highest-ranked of Phoenix’s 3250 riders and lately ranks 21st in SuperMotocross points. He is eighth in the 250 West division.
